Jayne's Wine & Beer Bash

We had a little get together at the Wittschen's for Jayne's birthday.  It was a "Wine and Beer Bash."  You know those parties where you go and watch the little presentation and then buy stuff?  Like Mary Kay, Southern Living, or Scentsy?  Well, this was kind of like those, but with WINE!!!!!  Now if that's not a smart business decision, then I don't know what is.  And we even got to try the product!  Yes, please.  It was fun, unique, and even a little educational.  After the "show" was over we continued the festivities to celebrate Jayne's birthday.  Her and Kevin worked hard on setting up a photo booth area, which I think was a huge hit.  Even the guys enjoyed being silly and caught on camera while doing it.  Ha!!  We will definitely need more photo booth action at future parties.  For sure!  Enjoy the pics!

Do you see the damage?  I can assure you, it wasn't like this when we gave it to him.  He tried to be sneaky about it too.  Parked it across the parking lot, facing in, and didn't say a word about it.  Um, excuse me sir?  You failed to mention that you f*ed up our car!!!!  All I can do is laugh about it sometimes.  People are crazy.  Plain and simple.

This post reminded me about another funny customer.  She had rented at another store but came to me to exchange her vehicle because she wasn't happy with it.  She mentioned a couple of things, one being that she had to drive all the way from Kansas without being able to roll the windows down.  So I go out to take a look at the car.  Again, I just had to shake my head.  The window lock was ON!  Seriously??!!??

Tyler's Graduation

The last of the Martin Family is graduating high school!  Tyler (who is also my Godson) graduated from Tomball High School.  Like with my own kids, I'm in awe of quickly time goes by.  I can honestly say that I can remember the day he was born.  I got to skip school that day!  Ha!  And now he is graduating high school??  O-ma-word!!

Gabe had to work, so the kids and I ventured off to College Station to watch him cross the stage and grab that diploma!  Isn't that crazy?  The ceremony is at A&M?  I guess there's no where that's closer that will hold all of the family and friends.  Not sure how many were in his graduating class but the coliseum was pretty full.
Afterwards we all ate at Abuelo's- Mexican food, of course!

Congratulations, Tyler!  We are very proud of you.  Good luck at UTSA!!!

It was also Becky's birthday... Happy Birthday, Sister!  Love you!!!

Another Graduation In The House

That's right!  Another graduation.  This time it was Zachary's turn!!  He graduated from Pre-School!!  Can't believe my baby will be starting grade school in the fall.  Wow.
The school put together a really cute ceremony.  The kids all filed in and sat in the front.  We watched a really cute slideshow/video of them all saying what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Talk about "melt my heart" material!  Then they were called up one by one to receive their "diploma."  Pretty cute stuff.  I mean, all they were missing were cap and gowns!  Ha!
Afterwards, we went to the cafeteria to have some punch and cookies.
